Phoenix Custom Gates

Custom Iron Gates in Phoenix, AZ

Courtyard, entry and side-yard gates drawn to your opening, then welded, finished and hung.

Custom Iron Gates for Phoenix Homes

Iron Gates Phoenix has fabricators who design and build custom iron gates for entries, courtyards and side yards across Phoenix. A custom gate is sized to the opening you have, so it hangs without filler pieces or a gap at the latch.

Most Phoenix wrought iron gates we build are steel tube frames with square or round pickets. From there, the look is yours: a straight top, an arch, scrolls, collars, finials or a horizontal modern pattern.

We draw the gate to scale with the hinge side, swing direction and latch height marked. You approve the drawing before fabrication starts.

How a Custom Gate Gets Built

  1. Measure. We measure the opening at the top and bottom, check the slope under the swing and look at what the gate hangs from.
  2. Draw. You get a scaled drawing with style, height, hinge side and hardware.
  3. Fabricate. Steel is cut and welded in the shop, welds are ground smooth and the gate is finished.
  4. Hang. The gate is hung, leveled and adjusted so it latches with one hand.

Custom Iron Gates Questions

How long does a custom iron gate take?

Most of the time is in the shop after you approve the drawing. We give you a schedule with the estimate, and install day for a single gate is usually a few hours.

Can you match my existing fence?

Usually. We measure picket size and spacing and copy the top style so a new gate looks like it belongs.

Can a new gate hang on my block wall?

Yes, if the wall can take the load. Heavier gates get a steel post set in concrete next to the wall instead.

Do you make arched gates?

Yes. Arches can be built into the top rail of single gates and matched across double gates.
